The Coconut Nut, Alegria Island
The Coconut Nut - Alegria Island, Philippines

Five days on the island and five days enjoying the cuisine at The Coconut Nut. It was far too little time! Each visit was an opportunity to try something new: from the pizza to the salads, as well as the homemade breakfasts, the cakes, sandwiches or the excellent coffee and cappuccino.

I highly recommend the rice with shrimp or squid. It is a sample of local cuisine, with the unmistakable Filipino seasoning that elevates the dish.

Unmatched Service and a Heavenly Location

Throughout our stay, the service was exceptionally friendly. We even had the opportunity to take private surfing lessons that added a special touch to the experience.

I know The Coconut Nut is a "lost" spot among the hundreds of islands in the Philippines, but its cooking and flavor are on a par with the most acclaimed restaurants you could find anywhere else in the world.

Unbeatable Quality and Prices at The Coconut Nut

What makes this place even more incredible are its prices, which are affordable, designed for local people. If, like me, you are a tourist and are lucky enough to find a place like this, believe me, it is a real bargain!

Special mention goes to the Pizza Chicken: even though they are not Italian, they have captured the art of vera pizza. Highly recommended!

Alegria Beach, the Siargao Islands Experience

The location is right on the oceanfront, with white sand, crystal-clear waters and the open sky. The sunsets were perfect, not to mention how beautiful the sunrise was!

Alegría Island truly brought joy back to us. This is not a place you can do justice to with a simple vacation; it is a place to move to.

We hope to return soon to this corner of the Philippines.
